Public consultation for the authorization of the frequency bands 800MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2100MHz, and 2500MHz, to and also for amending existing rights of use of radiofrequencies (MTN and CYTA) in the frequency bands 900MHz, 1800MHz and 2100MHz

Publication of Responses/Comments

The Acting Director of the Department of Electronic Communications announces the publication of the responses/comments submitted during the public consultation for the authorization of the frequency bands 800MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz, 2100MHz, and 2500MHz, for the establishment and operation of electronic communications network(s) for the provision of electronic communications services and also for amending existing rights of use of radiofrequencies (MTN and CYTA) in the frequency bands 900MHz, 1800MHz and 2100MHz.

In the public consultation that took place from 14.12.2012 to 30.01.2013 participated 4 private companies (Cablenet, MTN, Primetel, Kleos s.a.l.) one semi-government organisation (Cyta) and a national regulatory authority (OCECPR). The document published below summarises the main comments received from the companies/organisations.
